For every Little Red Riding HoodSnow White, or Rapunzel, there are literally dozens of much more obscure—and certainly more bizarre—Grimm's Fairy Tales. Like the one about the Mouse, the Bird, and the Sausage (and no, they don’t walk into a bar). On what would be Wilhelm Grimm's 231st birthday, here are some of the weirder Grimms’ tales that didn’t quite merit the Disney treatment.

1. THE MOUSE, THE BIRD, AND THE SAUSAGE

2. CAT AND MOUSE IN PARTNERSHIP

3. RIFFRAFF

4. THE STRANGE FEAST

5. HURLEBURLEBUTZ
