  1. clandestine (adj.) kept secret or done secretively, especially because illicit; secret; covert; stealthy
  2. indignant (adj.) feeling or showing anger or annoyance at what is perceived as unfair treatment; discontented; disgruntled
  3. circumspect (adj.) wary and unwilling to take risks; cautious; careful
  4. sordid (adj.) involving immoral or dishonorable actions and motives; arousing moral distaste and contempt; sleazy, seedy, filthy
  5. veritable (adj) being in fact the thing named and not false, unreal, or imaginary —often used to stress the aptness of a metaphor; authentic; genuine; real
  6. banal (adj.) so lacking in originality as to be obvious and boring; cliche; bland; boring
  7. perspicacity (n.) the quality of having a clear insight into things; shrewdness; keenness; perceptiveness; astuteness;  perspicacious  (adj.) having a ready insight into and understanding of things; perceptive; shrewd
  8. malaise (n.) a general feeling of discomfort or unease whose exact cause is difficult to identify; unhappiness; uneasiness; restlessness
  9. insolent (adj.) showing a rude and arrogant lack of respect; cheeky; rude; impolite
  10. decadent (adj.) 1.  marked by moral or cultural decline or decay; decayed
